About Building Community Ferment
Started by Stephanie Maroney and Sean Nash in 2018, this workshop series is free and open to everyone. Building Community Ferment is both a practical introduction to the art of transforming foods through bacterial collaboration and a creative space to ponder our relationships to each other and the more-than-human world. Come to these workshops prepared to learn a fun skill and be inspired by lively microorganisms.
All events in the 2021 series are via Zoom, co-sponsored with the Mary L. Stephens — Davis Branch of the Yolo County Library, with a materials grant from UC Davis Global Affairs.
